Legacy of Life
Arsenio R. Johnson was born on March 16, 1989, a precious gift to his parents, Reginald G. Johnson and Deloris Johnson-White. At the tender age of two, in 1991, Arsenio's journey brought him to Houston, a city that would shape much of his life. He flourished here, completing his education and proudly graduating from Willow Ridge High School in 2007. It was also in Houston, at Brentwood Baptist Church, that Arsenio embraced his faith, accepting Christ as his Savior.
Arsenio dedicated himself to his work as a Cleaning Technician with USA Innovations, a role that allowed him to travel and explore different places. His presence was a source of light and laughter to those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by many beloved family members who now welcome him into eternity: his maternal grandfathers, Henry Lee Brown and Handy Watkins Jr.; his paternal grandfather, Henry P. Johnson Sr; his maternal grandmothers, Ethel Morgan and Lucinda King; his uncles, William (Bro) Johnson, Roy Lee Rambo, Stafford Milton, Johnny (Pete) Beverly III, and Thurman Lee Beverly; and his aunts, Martha Milton and Lue Ethel Green.
Arsenio leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. His mother, Deloris Johnson- White (Thomas) of Missouri City, TX, and his father, Reginald Glynn Johnson (Jacquline) of Alexandria, LA, mourn his passing deeply. He is survived by his two children, Tierra A. Johnson (Nene, his special friend) and Jamarkus Johnson (Tosha) of Houston, TX, who will carry forward his spirit and love. His sister, Kayla Johnson of Dallas, TX, maternal grandmother Barbara Johnson of Houston, TX, paternal grandmother Vera Johnson of Alexandria, LA, and Pearline Wiley of Sugar-land, TX, will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Among those who loved him dearly, his special aunt, Melissa A. Kimble (Paul) of Houston, TX, held Arsenio as close as a son, and like a sister, Jasmine N. Jerman of Houston, TX, shared a bond that transcended family ties. His god-sister, Shaneka Mitchell of Lena, LA, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends will remember Arsenio with love. Special mention is given to his cousin, Demond Fagan, who held a unique place in Arsenio's life.
Arsenio’s journey on this earth may have ended, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. His memory is a light that will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who were blessed to share in his love.
