Cassandra Regina Campbell was born December 14, 1959 to the union of Frank and Betty Campbell in New Orleans, Louisiana. Cassandra was raised by her late grandparents Joe and Doretha Trapps where where she grew up in Rock Zion Baptist Church. There she was baptized at an early age. She later moved her membership to Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church on North 35th Street in Baton Rouge, La. After sometime she followed her brother-in-law, reverend Jeffery Jackson to Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Lakeland, La where she came occasionally as she was able. Cassandra better known as "Sandy" dedicated her life to helping others, especially family in anyway she could. She especially was caring to and for a host of nieces and nephews. Cassandra's health began to fail and she departed this life on Tuesday morning May 18, 2021 at 9:45 AM at the Crossing at the Clarity Hospice. She leaves to cherish her memories the love of her life, Willie Robins of 18 years; son Sedric Campbell, daughter Latasha Singleton (Derrick), daughter Lakeysha Campbell, son Lawrence Brown, daughter Stephanie Campbell Barrow, daughter-in-law Kaci Brown, Grandchildren: Shalacia Campbell, Dash Williams, Aaliyah Wheeler, Kayla Wheeler, Tyron Wheeler, Darnus Wheeler, Tre'von Mitchell, Jashon Lewis, Johnny Lewis Jr., Crystal Brown, Tyler Brown, Elisha Beckwith, Emilee Dabney, Chad Dabney, Alyjah Stevenson, great granddaughter. Mother, Betty Steward, Siblings Toni Jackson (Reverend Jeffery Jackson), Wanda Poole, Ventrell (Winston McCoy) Troy Poole (Charlotte), Frank York, Frank Brooks (Ursula), Sheila Sholes, Sharon Fenderson, Kathy Campbell, Jamie Maxwell, Aunt Yvonne Holiday of New Orleans La and an uncle John Allen Stewart, Tacoma Washingtin and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by father Frank Campbell, brother Edward Poole Jr., daughter Kendra, maternal grandparents Allen Steward and Anisteen Blackmon, paternal grandparents Joe and Doretha Trapps, granddaughter Dejah Rome and grandson Keshon Lewis.
