Clarence Palmer Jr was born on October 28,1957 to the late Clarence and Rosa Mary Palmer. He was the third child and oldest son of eight children. He departed this life on September 21, 2024, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Clarence Palmer Jr graduated from Capital High School. Afterward he attended LSU. He went on to become an operator and foreman at Georgia Pacific Paper Mill, Onsite Environmental, and Hydrochem Environmental. He also worked at his brother Warren’s business Warren Cement and Construction. Clarence Palmer Jr was baptized at an early age. As child he attended Belfair Baptist Church. Later in life rededicated his soul to the Lord as an active participant at Pastor Burnett Edward's ministry (New Freedom Ministries). He had great faith and truly trusted in God. He leaves to cherish his memories three (3) children Clarence Avery Palmer III, Latasha Freeman, and Clarence Freeman; Five (5) grandchildren; three (3) sisters Sherilyn Palmer, Sandra Palmer, and Ester White (Calvin); three (3) brothers Kenneth Palmer, Warren Palmer (Evelina), and Edward Palmer (Audrey) all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Uncle: Frank Armster and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted neighbors and friends. Clarence Palmer Jr was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Palmer Sr and Rosa Mary Palmer; grandmother, Louise Armster; and sister Rose Marie Palmer - Chinwoh.
Memorial Service Saturday September 28, 2024, at 10:00am at Bible World Christian Center 1771 N Lobdell Blvd Baton Rouge, La 70806 conducted by Pastor Burnette Edward of New Freedom Ministries. Professional Services entrusted to Resting Place Funeral Home.
