Donald Wayne Tate "D.W & DuckSoup" was born on March 17, 1960, in Independence, Louisiana to Lizzie Tate and late Willis Tate. Donald was called home on December 28,2023 at Hood Hospital in Amite, Louisiana. He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Lizzie Tate, three daughters, Ashley Anderson, Kamberly Tate and Kimberly Clark, five grandchildren, Jalon and Jaquon Anderson, Malaika Bradford, James McKnight and Zuri Haney, one sister Frances-Tate Jackson, two brothers James and Robert Tate, Soulmate Clara Robertson Tate, one sister-in-law Enda Tate, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his father Willis Tate, three brothers, Percy, Sterling and Willie Tate, brother-in-law Joseph Jackson and sister-in-law Cynthia Tate.
