Harold Gibson, “Half of Pint”, was born October 19, 1942 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Adam Gibson Jr. He departed this earthly life peacefully on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at his home in Vacherie, La. Harold was a native of Vacherie, La. He enjoyed time with his great grandkids, and watching New Orleans Saints, and never missed an opportunity to watch them. Harold worked as an agricultural laborer driving tractors at Rodrigue & Son, and a welder at Avondale Ship Yard. Harold leaves his memories to be cherished by his wife Nolia Mae, his kids, Harold Jr, Bruce, Sandra, Don Cornelius Sr., and LaNasha, his grandkids, LaCreatia, Francis, Darius, Anthony, Dijonia, TeOshia, Don Cornelius Jr, and Earon, his great grandkids, Thayland, Tyrese, Jarriah, TaShiyah, Dazani, Davonne Jr., Braylen, Darrius Jr., Harold, Jaxson, and Landyn, one sister, Verna Mae Thomas, his brothers, Larry Gibson (Bobbie), Charles Gibson (Betty), and Leroy Jones, his godchildren, Carl and Marlas Fletcher, one aunt Dorthy Williams, three sister-in-laws, Lola Roussell, Rose Jones, and Cora Peters, one brothers-in-law Cornelius Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter Annette Marie Gibson, his parents Adam Jr. and Hilda Gibson, two brothers, Gerald and Adam III, and three sisters, Mildred Grice, Dorthy Mae Williams, and Septima Keller. Viewing Saturday November 28, 2020 at 9:00am until Religious Service at 11:00am. At First Baptist Church 1244 Magnolia Heights st. Vacherie, LA. 70090. Interment in First Baptist Church Cemetery. Personal Services entrusted to Resting Place Funeral Home.
