James Bailey

James Bailey passed away Wednesday October 09, 2024, at the age of 82. James was a man of simple joys who left a memorable mark on those who knew him. His love for cheeseburgers and cokes, along with his cherished morning cup of coffee, were just a few of his everyday pleasures. He found immense comfort in sitting back and listening to the radio, allowing the music and voices to fill his days. Forever curious and engaging, he often greeted friends and family with his signature phrase, "watcha got for me," sparking conversations and connections that will be dearly missed. May his memory bring a smile to all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memories his faithful and devoted niece Latrice and her husband Arthur Ray Young Sr who cared for James along with their children with such love and compassion. He also leaves to cherish his memories one brother Lyndon B. Johnson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Isaiah and Naomi Bailey, brothers Felton C Bailey and Leo S. Bailey, and nephew Marcus Rucker.
