John Edward Ross Sr.

John Edward Ross, Sr. passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 66. John was a “wicked smaaht” carman who always put a smile on everyone’s face. His humor was contagious and will be missed.

He was born and raised in Massachusetts by the late James and Theresa “Betty” Ross and moved to Louisiana 40 years ago where he became a Saints fan screaming “Who Dat” every Sunday!

John is survived by his soulmate, Betsy Rane; his children, Rachel Baio(Jonathan), Christian Singleton (Travis), Megan Smith (Damon), and John Ross Jr.; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Hayden, and Daisy Baio, Zayne and Bella Carpenter, Aurie, Davyn and Audyn Singleton, Oz and Oliver John Anderson; his siblings, Anne Carreiro, Kathy Delrossi, Tom Ross, late Jaime Ross Sr., David Ross, Paul Ross, Richard Ross, Julia Ross, late Dennis Ross, Danny Ross, Peter Ross, Brian Ross and Kenny Ross.

He lived his life “Forever Young” and we will celebrate it on January 25, 2025 from 2-5 pm at Greenoaks Life Celebration Reception Center at 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815.
