Jonathan ”Jay” Brue

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jonathan Brue, a beloved member of our community who left us too soon on January 29, 2025, at the age of 42.

Jonathan was a gifted mechanic known for his skill in hooking up music systems in cars, bringing joy to many through the perfect harmony of tunes and automobiles. His passion for old school cars was evident in the care and attention he devoted to each project, making every vehicle a testament to his expertise and love for the craft.

Beyond his professional talents, Jonathan was a vibrant soul who loved to dance and brought light to every gathering. He cherished his time with family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and warmth. Jonathan's love for those around him was evident in the way he lived his life—full of enthusiasm, kindness, and a genuine desire to make others happy.

Jonathan's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He is survived by his loving family and many dear friends who will forever remember his infectious smile, his unwavering support, and his passion for life. He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, John (Benita) Brue and Janelle Patterson, sister Helen Patterson, brother Ralphall Patterson, his children, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
