Leonard Paul Major passed away Tuesday March 08, 2022 at the age of 68 at his residence surrounded by the love of his family. Leonard Paul Major was born to the union of Myrtle Scott Major and Joseph Major. Leonard who was affectionate called “Mutty” worked several jobs planting sugar cane until he was no longer able as his health declined. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at the Asbury Independent Methodist Church by the late Rev. Herman Green. Leonard leaves to cherish 2 Sisters, Mary (Lawrence) Bennett of Donaldsonville, La, Jean Clark of White Castle, La, 1 Brother Oscar ( Sheryl) Major, and 2 God Kids, Troy Banks and Lakeisha Link, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was proceeded in death by his mother and Father, Joseph, and Myrtle Major, 2 sisters, Myrtle Taylor, and Fannie Anderson Davis, 5 Brothers, Frank Major, Joseph Major, Edward Major, Christopher Major, and Richard Major. 2 sisters in laws, Mercedes Major and Sarah Major, 2 brother in laws, Gregory Clark and James Taylor, and host of other relatives and friends.
