Maria Lynette Magee

Maria Lynette Magee peacefully departed this life on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at her home in Baton Rouge, LA. She was born February 2, 1961 to the union of the late Myrtis Allen and Jerald Arden Leduff Magee and was the oldest of three siblings. She is a 1979 graduate of Istrouma High School and a devoted mother of three and grandmother of six. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her three children, Tiffany Magee (Derrick Jarvis), Stanley Shropshire both of Baton Rouge and Christian Williams (Darius Crawford) of New Orleans, LA. Her brother Juan Magee and wife Bridget, sister Maia Green and husband Stevie. Six Grandchildren, Malette, Maleyha, Makaley and Martise of Baton Rouge, Braylon of Arlington, TX. and Cinclare of Nashville, TN. Neices and nephews Tia (Brandy) Magee, Martin (Monique) Magee II, China (Brent) Martin, Dijon( Carrie ) Pickens, Jardanne and Jalen Green. Great nieces and nephews. A devoted fiancée Stephanie Davis and her daughter Brittany. Aunt Shirley Montegue of Philadelphia. Best friends Ethel McCoy and Sabrina Jenkins God-sister Gail Thomas. Also to cherish her memories is a host of family, friends and adopted children. Lynette is preceded in death by her parents Myrtis Allen Magee and Jerald Arden LeDuff Magee, Grandmothers Earlie LeDuff and Goldie Magee, Aunt Marie Tervalon and wife Stephanie Magee.
