Michael Anthony Fontenot

Michael Anthony Fontenot, lifelong resident of Sorrento, Louisiana, passed away unexpectedly March 17th. Michael has always had a love for music. He spent his earlier years as a DJ and went by the name “DJ Money Mike”. He is survived by his four children, Chad Forbes and fiancé Traci Wilson, Stefanie & Tim Wilbanks, Anthony Fontenot and fiancé Landry Tullier and Jacob Fontenot; grandchildren Caleb Forbes, Aliceson Rankin, Garrett Marcus, Kyler and Peyton J. Fontenot and granddaughter on the way Evelyn Forbes. He is also survived by his step mother Cheryl Fontenot and five brothers, Andy, Brady, Chet, Kern and Seth Fontenot. He is proceeded in death by the love of his life Rebecca B. Elpers, his parents Stefan Joseph Fontenot and Judy Ann Duplessis. His grandparents Ellis and Elsie Fontenot and Vernon and Joyce Duplessis. Visitation will be held at The Church International at 13250 LA 431, St. Amant, LA on Thursday, March 24th from 5:00pm- 7pm with services following. A celebration of life will also be followed immediately after for family and friends.
