Michael Charles Thompson

Michael C. Thompson, a native of White Castle, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away Friday April 30, 2021 at Our Lady Of The Lake Hospital at the age of 65. Michael served in the United States Army for 20 years. He worked as a butcher for over 20 years until he retired. In 1983, he married Linda Nance and raised three children with her. Michael leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife of 38 years Linda Thompson; stepdaughter Janieko Nance and stepson Brian (Sylvia) Nance of Baton Rouge, LA; two grandchildren, Asia (Quinlyn) Jenkins and Trevalon Aubry Nance; two brothers, John Paul Thompson of New Orleans, LA and Jeffery Thompson of Watson, LA,; three godchildren, Joseph Jones, Crystal Spears and Trelina Thomas all of Baton Rouge, LA,; and a host of other relatives and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Dorothy Thompson; brothers, Nathan Thompson an Curtis Thompson; two sisters, Caroline Thompson and Mary Ann Thompson and stepson Trevalon LaTroy Nance.
