Nedra Lynn Hopkins

Nedra Lynn Hopkins, age 53, of Port Allen, LA, broke free of her experience with cancer and received her wings on May 26, 2024. Nedra is survived by her four children - Joshua Hopkins, Kaitlan Brandon, Trevor Hopkins, and Myles Hopkins; one grandchild, X'Olia, affectionately termed "ZaZa"; her mother, Loretta (Harrell) Brandon; one maternal sister, Lisa (Jamal) Brown; four paternal siblings - Shona Clark Thibodeaux, Edmund Bessard, Jr., Nathalie Bessard and Laundrea Clark; two devoted nephews, Clarence Williams, Jr. and Corey Williams. She also leaves to cherish three adoring aunts, a host of loving cousins, other relatives and close friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Edmund Clark, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Rosetta and Wilbert Dukes; paternal grandparents, Edmund, Sr. and Lillie Mae Clark; aunts, Alexis Hopkins, Blenda Perkins, and Peggy Clark Patty. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Resting Place Funeral Home, 7840 Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
