Sister Rose "Roe" Scott was born December 09, 1947. She was a native of Clinton, La and a resident of Baton Rouge, La. She departed this life Wednesday February 17, 2021 at 4:40pm at Ochsner Medical Center at the age of 73. Sister Roe is survived by two daughters Precious Scott and Jennifer Scott (Russell)Dunn, a sister Gloria Robinson, a God daughter Emma Dodson; 5 grandchildren, Raymon Scott, Gregory (Myeisha) Scott Sr., Tylicia Scott, Charisma Scott Martin, and Janisha Scott ;14 great grandchlldren, Syia, Kimoni, Don'Jean, Keidan, Amyria, A'keirah, Jahnyii, John, Javion, Rayne, Raegan, Jaleigh, Gregory Jr., and Jamyriah; Best Friends Ron and Faye. She was preceded in death by her parents Octavia and John B Jackson Sr., Daughter Mechie Scott, Sisters Emma Jones and Estelle ( John) Robertson, Brother John B (Ruth) Jackson Jr., Nephews Donald Anderson, David Anderson, Lee Jackson, and Alvin Ray Jackson, Nieces Latasha Anderson, and Octavia Monique Jackson. Visiting Saturday March 06, 2021 9:00am until Religious Service at 11:00am at St James Baptist Church of Slaughter, Louisiana 10151 Noel Thomas Lane Slaughter, La 70777. Interment in St Peters Cemetery. Professional Services entrusted to Resting Place Funeral Home.
