Mother Evangelist Sylvia "Syl" Lee entered eternal rest Friday January 28, 2022 at the age of 70. She attended McKinley Sr High and later attended Capitol Area Vocational School where she received her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She went on to devote over 30 years as a nurse to Baton Rouge General Hospital. Sylvia was always willing and eager to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone she came in contact with. With bittersweet rejoicing Syl will forever be cherished by: a loving & devoted husband, Joseph Lee, two children: John Allen Robinson Jr. (Sheila) and Jennifer Michelle Robinson Harris (Kevin). Two step-children: Alberta Williams and Terry Coates. One Sister: Laurant White (Ronald) and One Brother: LeeRoy Williams. Eight grandchildren: Keona Robinson, Kayla Robinson, Alyssa Lewis, Anitra Foster, Kenneth Brown, Jamie Brown, Eric Brown and Markisha Brown. A devoted special friend: Joyce Henry, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, her ACOJC Church Family, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents (Robert & Alma Williams), three brothers (Lawrence “Poncho” Williams, Donald Ray Williams and Freddie Mack Williams), two sisters (Juanita Williams and Stella Freeman), one step-son (Richard Williams) and one grand-daughter (Angela Michelle Robinson). Visitation Friday Feb 04, 2022 4:00pm-7:00pm at First Pentecostal Church of Wisdom 4110 Baker Blvd Baker, La 70714 and Saturday Feb 05, 2022 9:00am until Religious Service at 11:00am at First Pentecostal Church of Wakefield 10719 Brown Dr St Francisville, La 70775. Interment in First Pentecostal Church of Wilson. Professional Services entrusted to Resting Place Funeral Home.
