William A. Carter Jr. age 49, was born to William and Thelma Harris Carter in Natchez Mississippi: At the age of 2 months old we later moved to Baton Rouge, La. William loved his family and loved to be around people. He was a graduate of Istrouma High School. He started work as a teenager in high school. His very first job was at Popeye's Fried Chicken. He worked at Albertson's, Target, and Walmart etc., but the job he loved so much was Associated Grocery. He worked for Associated Grocery 17 years. Oct 1, 2021 would have been 18 years. He looked forward to his off days because he would always clean-up the yard on Friday. He loved cooking. His favorite meal he liked to prepare was: fried fish and barbecue (Chicken, ribs, and sausage). William was known for his dress attire, William was a loving, kind, affectionate, humble, obedient, and smart young man. He was a beautiful person inside and out. In William own private time he would spend time listening to God's Word on his phone. He would share songs and sermons he would find on his phone app with his father. He would also share job experiences and challenges with his mother and father. He loved talking about experiences he had with his .friends, family and coworkers to his parents. William was a loving, kind hearted, and funny person when him and his brother would get together. He loved his mother, father, brother, his sister-in-law, niece, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, god-mother, god-sister, and god-brother. William leaves to celebrate his life and cherish precious memories his father William Carter, mother Thelma Harris Carter, brother Donald (Lakennerick) all of Baton rouge, La; niece, DeQuiela Carter, nephews Darius O'Conner of Colorado and D'Myjai of Baton Rouge; beloved aunties Rosetta James of St. Francisville La., Lula Richardson (Bernard) Baton Rouge; uncles Earnest White (Dorthy), Wilson White, Jerry White (Thomastine), James White (Irma Lee) all of Woodville, Mississippi. William was proceeded in death by his sister Crystal D. Carter; grandparents (Mary Harris) James Harris, Annie White Hampton; aunties Annie M. White, Betty H. Conrad, Geraldine H. Walker, Marie Harris; uncles Robert W, Harris and Charles & Harris. Viewing Friday August 13, 2021 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Resting Place Funeral Home 7840 Florida Blvd Baton Rouge, La 70806 and Viewing Saturday August 14, 2021 at 9:00am until Private Funeral Service at 11:00am at New Beech Grove Baptist Church 13305 La Hwy 967 St Francisville, La 70775. Interment in New Beech Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Professional Services entrusted to Resting Place Funeral Home.
